is the watch and tag job a scam?

is the watch and tag job a scam?

i see people everywhere saying they got a job watching netflix movies and tv shows and then deciding which categories those movies go into. is this a real thing? and if so, how do i go about getting started/what should i expect? if anyone currently working as a netflix tagger comes across this it would be great if you gave some details about what you do and how it pays, any age restrictions etc.

it all sounds way too good to be true but if it is, i’m definitely gonna try it.

Top Comment: Sorta. So I personally know there at least was a job because a friend of mine works for one of the subcontractors who did it. They might still do it, just haven't talked about it with that person for a couple of years. That said, they needed really few people and all of the work had to be done onsite for various reasons I don't know because I didn't actually work for them and sign an NDA. And it didn't pay for crap. My friend told me about that particular team when I was between contracts hoping I would join up to help run it for a few months, but the pay was hilariously low and that was for a lead position. edit: The more I think about it, can't remember if the end client was actually netflix or one of the other services.

I am curious - what jobs do people who watch anime work in?

Main Post:

If you aren't in high school or uni that is.

Top Comment: From my experience, you'll find a lot of them in very tech heavy jobs. Engineering/CS/IT/Software Dev etc.

Will the Apple watch hold up at a construction job?

Main Post:

So I've been contemplating getting an Apple Watch for awhile. I work as a sprinkler fitter on construction sites and I'm afraid it would get dinged up and scratched. Anyone here wear their watch to construction or trade jobs?

I've been a flooring installer most of my life. I've had an 42SS BSB for well over a month, and I haven't had any issues. Just like anything else, it's all about being mindful of your surroundings and yourself: a skill you definitely have to cultivate on a construction site. If you've got that, you'll do fine.

Getting a job is so hard right now

Main Post:

That's it, that's the post. Companies ghosting you, no responses, asking for an interview, then never replying to set one up. Everyone is hiring, yet no one is at the same time. I have 6+ years of food and hospitality, 2 years in clerical, and 2+ years in event planning. Literally nothing is biting. I can make as many different resumes and cover letters, run them by professionals, and with ChatGPT, and nothing.

Tell me your stories, because I can't be the only one suffering this right now.
